Qualification Structure

The Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (RQF) is a regulated qualification accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The qualification has a Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 150 hours, 84 Guided Learning Hours (GLH), and a credit value of 15 credits.

Unit 3: Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding

On successful completion of this unit, the learner will be able to:

• Be able to prepare assessments of vocational skills, knowledge and understanding.
• Be able to carry out assessments using appropriate assessment methods.
• Be able to make assessment decisions based on appropriate evidence.
• Be able to provide required information following assessment.
• Be able to maintain legal and good practice requirements when assessing vocational skills, knowledge and understanding.
