It is a Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) qualification regulated by Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation in England, and is awarded by Qualsafe Awards.

For UK learners, the qualification provides a regulated Level 2 foundation within the RQF.
