The Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) is the single framework for regulated qualifications in England, with the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) responsible for regulating qualifications. The ProQual Level 2 Award in Machinery Safety for Operators is accredited onto the RQF.
The ProQual Level 2 Award in Machine Safety is a UK-recognised, Ofqual-regulated qualification accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). It develops essential knowledge of machinery hazards, risk assessment, safe operating practices and risk control.
The qualification has 50 hours Total Qualification Time (TQT), including 50 Guided Learning Hours (GLH). Assessment is assignment-based and graded Pass/Fail, with internal assessment and verification by centre staff and external quality assurance by ProQual Verifiers.
