The Qualifi Level 4 Diploma in Law is an Ofqual-regulated UK qualification accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), designed to provide learners with a broad foundation in core legal principles and the UK legal system. It is awarded by QUALIFI, an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation, and carries the Qualification Accreditation Number (QAN) 610/1091/1.

The qualification develops knowledge and understanding across four mandatory areas: Contract Law, Criminal Law, Legal Methods and Public Law. Learners examine the formation and validity of legal agreements, contractual terms and remedies; the principles of criminal liability, offences and defences; sources of law, legal interpretation and the operation of the legal system; and the structure and principles of the UK constitution, including parliamentary sovereignty, separation of powers and judicial review.

With 120 credits, 720 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and 1,200 hours of Total Qualification Time (TQT), the diploma provides a structured Level 4 pathway for learners seeking to develop academic and practical legal knowledge. Assessment is through written assignments, with work internally assessed by the approved centre and subject to external quality assurance by QUALIFI.

The qualification is suitable for UK and international learners seeking a foundation for further legal study or related employment. Successful learners may progress to the Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Law, related higher-level qualifications, or employment in an associated profession. The qualification specification also states that its underpinning legal knowledge can contribute to preparation for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), although the diploma itself does not qualify an individual as a solicitor.
