Programme Overview

To enrol in the Certified Assessor Licence (CAL) course, candidates must meet all the following mandatory requirements:

2. Recognized Assessor Training Certification

Candidates must hold a valid and recognized Assessor qualification, such as:

  • CAVA (Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement)
  • TAQA (Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance) – Assessor Unit
  • A1 Assessor Award
  • Any equivalent accredited Assessor qualification

3. Evidence of Quality Assurance Involvement

Applicants must submit at least three (3) Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) reports demonstrating their involvement in assessment and quality assurance processes. Reports should include:

  • Assessment planning
  • Learner assessment decisions
  • Internal quality assurance processes
  • Compliance with assessment standards
