Programme Overview

To enrol in the Certified IQA Licence (CIL) course, candidates must meet all of the following mandatory requirements:

Mandatory Requirements

1. Minimum Professional Experience

Candidates must have at least three (3) years of verified experience in Internal Quality Assurance (IQA), internal verification, or quality assurance within vocational, professional, or workplace training environments.

Acceptable evidence includes:

2. Recognized IQA Training Certification

Candidates must hold a valid and recognized IQA qualification, such as:

  • Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
  • V1 Internal Verifier Award
  • TAQA IQA units
  • Any equivalent accredited IQA qualification

3. Evidence of Active IQA Practice

Applicants must provide evidence of active involvement in internal quality assurance, including:

  • IQA sampling records
  • Standardization meeting records
  • Feedback provided to assessors
  • IQA action plans or reports
  • Records of monitoring assessment decisions

Note: The training provider may specify a minimum number of IQA reports if required.
