Achieve Academic Excellence with the University of Wolverhampton BA (Hons) Early Childhood (Top-Up)
Offered by Inspire College of Technologies UK in Partnership with CIIHE UK.
The BA (Hons) Early Childhood (Top-Up) is designed for students who have already completed a Level 5 qualification, such as a Foundation Degree, HND, or Diploma in Early Childhood or Education, and wish to progress to a full UK honours degree. This final-year programme (Level 6) provides a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of early childhood theories, practices, and services while developing the confidence and skills required for professional success.
The course blends academic study with practical application, exploring key themes such as child development, pedagogy of play, inclusion, children’s rights, and leadership in early years settings. You will also engage with contemporary issues including sustainability, outdoor learning, and the impact of policy on early childhood services. Flexible assessment options—such as dissertations, interviews, reports, and written plans—allow you to tailor your learning journey to your strengths and career aspirations.
Delivered by the University of Wolverhampton in partnership with the inspire College of Technologies UK, the programme is internationally recognised and aligned with professional standards. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in early years education, childcare, children’s services, and community development, or for progression to postgraduate study in education and related fields.
